Crane ISD is excited to announce Mrs. Sara Hill will be returning to Crane High School & Crane ISD to lead the Crane Golden Crane Band next year. When Mr. Todd announced his plans to retire at the end of the year, we knew we had big shoes to fill. Please welcome Mrs. Sara Hill!

The Crane ISD Facilities Review and Long-Range Planning Committee held their second meeting today. The committee toured the Middle School Campus, reviewed financial data, and begin to brainstorm projects.

It is National School School Counseling Week this week! Take time to thank Mrs. Rizo, Mrs. Roark, and Mrs. Zeigler for all their work and for the role they play as our school counselors!

Our bad weather makeup day will be February 21st.

Mr. Daniel Todd, who has led the Crane Golden Crane Band the last 29 yrs, has announced his plans to retire at the end of this year. Mr. Todd has dedicated so much time & energy to this program and has impacted the lives of so many students over the yrs. Thank you, Mr. Todd!!!!

The Facility Review committee met today. Members introduced themselves, discussed why they chose to be part of the committee, learned about the current state and possible campus improvements. The School Board members and Crane ISD Leadership also attended the sessions.

During the board meeting, All-State Academic Athletes for Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country were recognized.

The School Board recognized District UIL Academic Elementary and Middle School teams and individuals finishing in the top three.
