Professional Learning in Action - Our 3rd - 5th grade teachers participated in LLI (Leveled Literacy Intervention) training. Focused on literacy and all students reading on grade level!

Crane ISD is excited to announce Mrs. Sara Hill will be returning to Crane High School & Crane ISD to lead the Crane Golden Crane Band next year. When Mr. Todd announced his plans to retire at the end of the year, we knew we had big shoes to fill. Please welcome Mrs. Sara Hill!

The Crane ISD Facilities Review and Long-Range Planning Committee held their second meeting today. The committee toured the Middle School Campus, reviewed financial data, and begin to brainstorm projects.



It is National School School Counseling Week this week! Take time to thank Mrs. Rizo, Mrs. Roark, and Mrs. Zeigler for all their work and for the role they play as our school counselors!


Our bad weather makeup day will be February 21st.

We will make the announcement by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow whether we are on regular schedule or a delayed start at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 4th.

We will be monitoring road conditions the rest of the week. Any changes (delayed start or cancellation) will be shared through social media and our alert messaging system.

Earlier this week we had the opportunity to announce our first “Difference Maker” - Debra Pettit, kindergarten teacher. She goes above & beyond in the classroom, mentors & supports new teachers, and shows up with a great attitude every day! We appreciate you, Mrs. Pettit!
