Met with the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) this afternoon and we had good conversations about next years calendar, CBAs and testing times and days, how they love the 4-day week and where we are at in the bond process. I will meet with the HS committee tomorrow.
CISD has been monitoring the weather updates closely. Mr. Murguia will be driving roads early tomorrow morning. At this time there is no precipitation forecasted but we will keep you all updated.
Basketball teams are in Stanton tonight for a district basketball game. Go Cranes.

Crane Parents - This is an update from MySchoolBucks, the cafeteria payment system.
Beginning next week, some parents in your district will see a Fall 2023 Program Fee of $2.50 at their next transaction made on MySchoolBucks. This fee will be charged only in connection with the first payment made during November & December 2023.
Like many other businesses, operational costs to deliver the MySchoolBucks platform and related services have increased. The Fall 2023 Program Fee is intended to help offset increased costs while continuing to provide the highest levels of technology, security, and privacy to parents and administrators using our service. The fee also helps to cover increased costs associated with our commitment to providing personal, live customer service to your staff and parents, without your school district incurring any unbudgeted costs.

Due to next weeks band state competition the regular scheduled board meeting for November 7 is going to be moved to Thursday, November 9. For further information please contact the admin office.
Updated football Schedules and times for October 26 and 27
Thursday October 26th
7th and 8th grade will play at field right behind Compass high School starting with the 7th grade at 5 followed by the 8th grade. The field is located between Compass and the church behind it. The best place to park will be at the church. Parents please bring lawn chairs to sit in as there are no bleachers.
JV game will be here in Crane starting at 6pm.
Friday October 27th
The game versus Compass will take place in Andrews starting at 7:30.
Crane will be the visiting team.
Crane ISD is proud to announce Julie Flores as community member of the month. Mrs. Flores was nominated by Mrs. Marinelarena. Mr. Marinelarena has said "Mrs. Flores work so hard supporting all of the students of Crane ISD. She volunteers so much of her time and is always supporting all the events."
