Crane High School FAFSA Parent/Student information session on Thursday, February 4th from 6:00-7:00 in the high school library. Please enter through the front doors. We will be here to help fill out applications and answer questions. A misconception is that FAFSA is only for economically disadvantaged students. FAFSA is for every student going to college or a vocational program because it is required for all ways to pay for college including specialty grants, scholarships and loans. We look forward to seeing you and helping you with this sometimes confusing process. Parents must attend with students. Please contact Mrs. Rizo or Mrs. Horton for further information.

Students/Parents: This is the last week of the 3rd six weeks.  You should be working hard to complete all of your work.  We are accepting all work from the entire six weeks.  Remember zeros are not permitted.  This is the last week for you to be in contact with your teachers.   Students who are failing or have incomplete work on Friday, December 18th will receive an incomplete for the 3rd six weeks in each of the courses affected.  I will not let you fail.  I will not allow grades given for work not completed.  Any work not completed or needs corrected by January 4, 2021 will be in Flex Time every day after school until all work is completed during the 4th six weeks.  You may continue to complete work from December 19th through January 3rd, however you will not be able to contact teachers during that time period.  You will be on your own.   Be aware that students who receive an incomplete and do not complete all work by Friday, January 8th will not be eligible for any UIL extracurricular activities in the 4th six weeks.   If you need help, call the school and we will have you come up and work with someone from 8:00am to 12:00pm Tuesday, December 15th to Friday, December 18th.  We want you to do well.  You need to be checking your school email several times a day this week.  Work hard this week and then you will have a nice two week break! I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, January 5th- I've missed your faces! Adrienne Horton Crane High School Principal

Your schedule Monday through Thursday is as follows: 1st 8:33- 9:23 2nd 9:26-10:16 3rd 10:19-11:03 4th 11:12-12:02 5th 12:05- 12:35 6th 12:38-1:34 7th 1:37-2:33 8th 2:36-3:21 You should be working according to your daily schedule.  Mondays you will be logged into class through zoom and Tuesday through Thursday you are completing work for your class during its scheduled time.  Friday is for you to complete any unfinished work from the week.  You will not have additional assignments on Friday.  You should have extra time every afternoon because the elective classes are assigning work that can be completed in less time than your core classes.   The Flex List is growing every day which means more and more students are not completing classwork.  We are making calls to parents to let them know you are on the flex list.  You will complete this work.  Remember zeros are not permitted for me at Crane High School, so if you do not complete the work while you are home, you will complete it when you return to school even if it after the six weeks has ended.  Everyone work hard, this time is difficult for everyone but it is only 2 more weeks- do not ruin your semester grades during this time.  Please email me or your teachers if you need help.  Work hard!
