In the 5th grade social studies class, the students have been exploring the origins of Thanksgiving and learning about various Native American tribes and their rich histories and cultures. To connect studies with the theme of gratitude, they celebrated with a 5th Grade Friendship Feast! Each student brought a dish that represents their family’s cultural traditions during Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful way to honor diversity, share stories, and reflect on the importance of being thankful for one another.
The "Woot Woot Wagon" was rolling through Crane Elementary this morning, bringing excitement, energy, and delicious snacks to everyone! Teachers, staff, and students were all smiles as the wagon made its way through the halls, spreading positive vibes and high fives! A huge thank you to our incredible PTA for their support today! Crane Elementary would like to recognize the students of the month for October! These students have been honored as 'Student of the Month' for exemplifying outstanding responsibility. Responsibility means taking initiative, making thoughtful choices, and understanding how our actions impact those around us. Congratulations to these students for setting a positive example!
Tonight, our amazing 3rd graders put on a beautiful Veterans Program to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. From singing patriotic songs to heartfelt poems, these young students did a wonderful job showing their gratitude. It was an evening full of respect, pride, and community.
