The 5th grade kicked off their annual basketball tournament today in PE, and the excitement is in the air! Students are showing off their teamwork, sportsmanship, and skills on the court. We can’t wait to see all the incredible plays and unforgettable moments this tournament will bring! Who will win this year? Are you Team Allen, Team Garza, Team Simpson, Team Torres, or Team Camacho? The 3rd-grade teachers are bringing learning to life! Figurative language took center stage today with phrases like "as quiet as a mouse," "as colorful as a rainbow," and "as busy as a bee" in action. What a creative and engaging way to make lessons memorable! Thank you for making learning so much fun!
Huge congratulations to our 4th graders for being the attendance winners for December!! Their commitment to being in class is truly impressive! A special shoutout to our fantastic PTA for treating our winners to a popcorn party! What a fun reward! Keep up the great work, everyone!
Crane ISD Weather Update
As of 4:30 a.m., the temperature remains cold, and roads are wet due to moisture. However, school will begin at the regular time, and buses will operate on their regular schedule.
Please allow extra time for travel and drive carefully, as road conditions may be slick.

Crane ISD is partnering with local law enforcement and is aware of the increased presence of law enforcement and emergency personnel at the elementary campus on January 2nd and 3rd. This is only a drill, and no students will be involved. Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to prioritize the safety and security of our school community.
