To the parents of Pre-k and kindergarten students,
CISD has been informed that the release times for Pre-K and kindergarten students are causing students to not receive the required minutes for the 2023-2024 school year. This oversight will need to be rectified or the school may be penalized by TEA. I know that the tradition of the elementary school is to release the Pre-K and Kindergarten early for safety but the state does not see that as a concern. CISD will release a plan of action soon.
