Once the bell rings for lunch at 12:22 p.m. tomorrow, your child is allowed to go home. Your child can go and eat lunch at the cafeteria if they want to. They are not required to return to school after the bell rings for lunch.

There will be a 10:00 AM start on Monday, January 11. There will be no morning bus routes taken. Buses will be online for afternoon routes.

Do not forget that this is the end of the 3rd six weeks. Please make sure and complete all of your assignments by the end of the week. The office is open until 12:30 today to pick up packets if you need them. You can also turn in your packets from last week. Have a great day!

Packet pickup today starting at 8:30 a.m. Be sure to turn in last week's work today as well. 7th and 8th grade will pick up at MS office. 6th grade will pick up at 6th grade entrance today. Mrs. Jones will be a the entrance to hand out this weeks assignments. Progress reports will be mailed out this week. Have a great week!

1. The end of the 3 weeks is today. Please make sure you have all of your work turned in. Contact your teachers if you have any questions. Progress reports will go out next week. 2. Packets are due Monday morning when you pick up your new ones for next week. Make sure they are completed. 3. We have a number of students who have not checked in this week. You have received multiple phone calls and messages. Please make sure and take care of your work. Your grades depend on it. 4. One week down. We two weeks left until we break for the holidays. Stay focused and engaged. This has been difficult for everyone. Stay safe during this time as well. 5, Do not forget your Zoom meetings with your teachers on Wednesday. Follow your regular class schedule that day.

For your 1-5 periods today, you will only Zoom in your core classes. You will have 1 period without a Zoom meeting. That will be for the period that you do not have a core class. For 6th grade it is your PE class period. For 7th grade it is your Crane Care with Mrs. Clack. For 8th grade it is your Career Explorations class.

Good Morning CMS Scholars! Do not forget that zoom meetings with your teachers take place today. You will only Zoom with your 1-5 periods and if you have ESL or Math 180 today. You will follow your normal class schedule for your Zoom schedule. Meetings will start at 8:30. Check Google Classroom and/or email for Zoom information. Crane Middle School Remote Learning Plan starting Monday, November 30th. 1. Students must check their email several times a day. 2. Students must log in to zoom meetings on Wednesdays. Zoom information is posted in Google Classroom and or student email for periods 1-5, ESL, and Math 180 classes. 3. Elective class information will be sent through Google Classroom or student email. Electives will only require 1 assignment a week. 4. Attendance credit will be given on Wednesdays by logging into each Zoom meeting during your scheduled class. For Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday attendance will be credited by completing all assignments for the week. 5. Students who fail to attend class and complete work will be subject to after school tutorials and possible Saturday school when school resumes in January. 6. In the event that a student does not have internet, packets will be available each week at the office. The office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for packet pickup on Mondays. Packets are due the next week on Monday when you pick up another one. Your attendance will be adjusted on the amount of work you complete for the week. 7. Students will also receive calls if they have not checked in daily and have not completed any work. 8. Phones will be answered at school Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Please stay on top of your assignments, communicate to teachers if you need help, log into your zoom meetings on Wednesdays. Your 3rd Six Weeks grades are dependent on your work during this time. We are here to help you.

To all Parents and Guardians of Crane ISD students:  Due to the surge in COVID-19 positive cases and close contact situations we will be closing all campuses until after the Thanksgiving break.  Each campus will be holding classes both virtually and through packets.  Please watch for posts from campuses for further instruction.  There will be no classes or food service from November 16, 2020 - November 29, 2020.  I hope everyone will stay safe and please monitor your close contact with others.   Sincerely, Janet Hunt, Superintendent Crane ISD

INFORMATION REGARDING TONIGHT'S CONTEST AGAINST THE KERMIT YELLOWJACKETS GAME TIME: 7:30PM GATES WILL OPEN @ 5:45PM There are 375 tickets available for tonight's ballgame. Tickets can be picked up at the South West gate of the stadium. This ticket will allow you entrance into the stadium. Seating will be based on first come first serve and what is available. Any sets marked with "taping" are not usable seats. Fans that enter the stadium will go through a COVID-19 screening process. Screening questions will be asked and temperature will be taken at the gate. FACE MASKS will be REQUIRED once you are inside the stadium. FACE MASKS will be REQUIRED while you are sitting in the stands, unless you are eating or drinking. Once the 375 tickets are given out, the gates will be shut down. Once the game starts, if you exit the stadium you will not be allowed to come back in. 225 seats will be available on the home side and 150 seats will be available on the visitors side. (Visiting side seating for Crane fans will be on the South East section of the stands. This area will be roped off) Option: You can arrive at the ticket booth early and get your ticket. You may leave if you choose to do so and return at a later time. However, you will be required to stand in line and go through the COVID-19 screening process. The ticket will ensure that you will be allowed into the stadium. Please note, if you are unable to attend the game, the game will be live streamed.
