Notice of Regular Meeting – Board of Education

CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

November 17, 2005

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on November 17, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       Canvas Rollback election

6.       Cast  votes for nominated members to the Crane County Appraisal District

7.       Purchase of electricity

8.       Highly Qualified Teacher Report

9.       District/Campus Site-based Goals and Objectives 2005-2006

10.   Attendance Review Committee

11.   Revision of Local Policy EIA

12.   Purchase of school vehicles

13.   Executive Session

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b.       Superintendent Evaluation

14.   Consent Agenda to include:

a.       Approve Minutes of previous meeting(s)

b.       Review Finance report and current bills

15.   Adjournment

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
