CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

Agenda:

1. Call meeting to order

2. Invocation and Pledge

3. Recognition of visitors

4. Public Forum

5. Resolution – Cast votes for nominated members to the Crane County Appraisal Board

6. Annual Report on Highly Qualified Status

7. Act on (Local) policies (see attached list)

8. Administrative Reports – Partner Contracts

9. Executive Session

a. Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b. Superintendent’s Evaluation

10. Hiring of Professional Staff

11. Consent Agenda to include:

a. Minutes of Previous Meeting(s)

b. Financial Report and Current Bills

12. Adjournment

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
