Notice of Regular Meeting – Board of Education

CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

October 13, 2005

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on October 13, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       District/Campus Site-Based Goals and Objectives 2005-2006

6.       Shared Service Agreement with Ector County ISD to provide services through the Regional Day School for the Deaf Program

7.       Agreement with Ector County ISD to provide Alternative Education Services for Crane ISD

8.       Adopt Resolution nominating members to the Crane County Appraisal District Board

9.       Consider/approve Local Policies - Update 76

10.   Administrative Reports

11.   Executive Session

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

12.   Consent Agenda to include:

a.       Approve Minutes of previous meeting(s)

b.       Review Finance report and current bills

c.       Quarterly Investment Report

13.   Adjournment

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
