CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

October 12, 2006

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on October 12, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       Conduct Public School “FIRST” Review

6.       Shared Service Agreement with Region 18 for Carl Perkins Vocational/Technical Funds

7.       Resolution Reviewing Investment Policy, Policy Investment Strategies, Designation of Investment Officers and Approving Independent Sources for Investment Training

8.       Purchase “Reading Coach” program for elementary and middle school

9.       Accept proposal/purchase of budgeted computers

10.   Accept proposal/purchase budgeted document cameras

11.   Accept proposal/purchase of budgeted mini bus

12.   Accept proposal/purchase budgeted suburban

13.   Purchase budgeted “Curriculum on Wheels Programs”

14.   Accept proposal/purchase of budgeted all-weather track renovations

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

c.       Financial Report and Current Bills

20.   Adjourn

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
