CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

August 11, 2005

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on August 11, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Purchase contracted personnel services for 2005-2006

5.       Purchase property/casualty insurance for 2005-2006

6.       Purchase vehicle/fleet insurance for 2005-2006

7.       Budget Amendments

8.       Administrative Reports

9.       Executive Session

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b.       Consider elementary principal position

10.   High School Principal contract

11.   Hiring of Elementary Principal

12.   Hiring of Professional Staff

13.   Consent Agenda to include:

a.       Minutes of previous meeting(s)

b.       Finance report and current bills

14.   Budget workshop

15.   Adjournment

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
