CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

July 13, 2006

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on July 13, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       Cafeteria policies/prices

6.       Proposals for parking lot replacement/repair

7.       Auditorium lighting purchase

8.       Crane ISD employee health/dental insurance 2006-2007

9.       Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPPA) Opt-Out

10.   Crane ISD student insurance 2006-2007

11.   Proposals for food and non-food items – August 1, 2006-July 31,2007

12.   Administrative Reports

13.   Executive Session to include:

a.      Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b.       Discuss re-organization and appointment of board officers under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

14.   Reorganization of board officers

15.   Hiring of Professional Staff

16.   Budget workshop

17.   Crane ISD Salary Scale for 2006-2007

18.   Consent Agenda to include:

a.       Minutes of previous meeting(s)

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
