CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

June 17, 2004

 

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on June 17, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

  2. Recognition of visitors
  3. Public forum

      a.  General

      b.  Drug Testing

  1. Consider/approve bids for food and non-food items for August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005
  2. Consider/approve Cafeteria Policies and Procedures
  3. Consider/approve resolution to add Larry T. Lee as a district authorized investment officer
  4. Consider/approve revisions to Local Policy BBB (board member: elections)
  5. Consider/approve resolution to accept management and control of Pat Butler Park from the Crane County Commissioner's Court
  6. Consider/approve revisions to the Student Dress Code
  7. Consider/approve appointing Crane ISD Tax Assessor to calculate 2003 effective tax rate
  8. Administrative Reports
  9. Consider/approve ring purchases/contributions for coaches of state track champions
  10. Executive Session: Discussion of personnel issues – Govt. Code 551.074

  6. Adjournment

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
