Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 6:30 p.m., in the Board Room at the Administration Building, 511 West 8th Street, Crane, Texas.

  1. Call meeting to order.
  2. Policy Update 80 – Local Policies
  3. Appraisal Calendar for 2007-2008 school year
  4. Purchase Curriculum on Wheels Program
  5. Administrative Reports
  6. Executive Session
    1. Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074
    2. Security issues – consider development, specific occasions for, or implementation of, security personnel or device under Gov. Code Sec. 551.076
  7. Reorganization of the board
  8. Hiring of professional staff
  9. Discuss salary scale for 2007-2008 school year
  10. Adjournment

           

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such executive or closed session in accordance with the Open meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
