Notice of Regular Meeting – Board of Education

CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

May 13, 2004

 

 

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on May 13, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

  1. Invocation and Pledge
  2. Recognition of visitors
  3. Middle school oral reading presentation
  4. Public forum
  5. Discuss/approve process for recommendation of possible drug testing for certain student groups
  6. Consider/approve revisions to Local Policy EIA – Academic Achievement: Grades/Progress Reports to Parents
  7. Consider possible action to approve upgrading building security and system controls
  8. Administrative reports
  9. Executive Session: Discussion of personnel issues – Govt. Code 551.074
  10. Action resulting from executive session
  11. Consider/approve Consent Agenda to include:
    1. Approval of minutes of previous meeting(s) (April 15th)
    2. Review finance report and current bills
  12. Adjournment

 

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
