CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

April 13, 2006

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on April 13, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       Public Hearing on the 2006-2007 School Calendar Start Date

6.       Sale of struck off property:

a.       Lot 3, Blk 16, original town and Lots 3-4, Blk 16 original town

b.       319 McElroy

c.       307 E. 5th/414 Adams Road

7.       Cancel Precinct 5 election due to no contest

8.       Purchase grass for football field renovation

9.       Consider marquee purchase

10.   Flexible Day Schedule for 06-07 school year

11.   Designate polling places for Precinct 4 and At-Large elections

12.   Administrative Reports

13.   Executive Session

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b.       Superintendent Evaluation Exchanges

14.   Hire Athletic Director/Head Football Coach

15.   Consider/Approve Consent Agenda to include:

a.       Approve investment report

b.       Approve Minutes of previous meeting(s)

c.       Review Finance Report and current bills

16.   Adjournment

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
