CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

March 22, 2007

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on March 22, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

Agenda:

1. Call meeting to order

2. Invocation and Pledge

3. Recognition of visitors

4. Public Forum

5. Review of Preclearance Submission to the Department of Justice

6. Accept certification of unopposed candidate for Precinct 4.

7. Cancel Precinct 4 election due to no contest and declare Lonny Velasquez elected

8. Administrative Reports

9. Executive Session

a. Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

10. Action on renewal of professional contracts

11. Consent Agenda to include:

a. Minutes of previous meeting(s)

b. Financial Report and Current Bills

12. Adjourn

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
