Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

Agenda:

1. Call meeting to order

2. Invocation and Pledge

3. Recognition of visitors

4. Public Forum

5. Crane ISD Band Performance

6. Facility Updates – Monte Hunter

7. Accept certification of unopposed candidate for Precinct 5

8. Cancel Precinct 5 Election due to no contest and declare Manuel Cadena elected

9. Bus Purchase

10. Administrative Reports

11. Executive Session

a. Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

12. Action on renewal of professional contracts

13. Consent Agenda to include:

a. Minutes of Previous Meeting(s)

b. Financial Report and Current Bills

14. Adjournment

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
