CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

January 17, 2008

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       Annual Audit for 2006-2007 school year

6.       Academic Excellence Indicator System Review, AYP, and Public Comment

7.       Amend Hunter Corral Associates contract to include turf project

8.       Resolution – Selection of construction procurement method for turf project at El Ave Stadium

9.       Approve bids for surplus vehicles

10.   Review/approve proposal for Construction Manager at Risk for Phase I – Elementary Project

11.   Fees for Criminal History Checks

12.   Administrative Reports

13.   Executive Session

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b.       Superintendent Evaluation

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
