Notice of Regular Meeting – Board of Education

CRANE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

January 12, 2006

 

 

Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Crane Independent School District Board of Education will be held on January 12, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Room of the Crane ISD Administration Building, 511 West 8^th Street, Crane, Texas.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

Agenda:

 

1.       Call meeting to order

2.       Invocation and Pledge

3.       Recognition of visitors

4.       Public Forum

5.       Board  Appreciation/Recognition

6.       Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) review and public comment

7.       Purchase Tennis Court Resurfacing Services

8.       Purchase Baseball Stands

9.       Administrative Reports

10.   Executive Session

a.       Personnel – discuss appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of an employee under Gov. Code Sec. 551.074

b.       Superintendent Evaluation

11.   Superintendent Contract

12.   Consent Agenda to include:

a.       Quarterly investment report

b.       Approve Minutes of previous meeting(s)

c.       Review Finance report and current bills

13.   Adjournment

 

If, during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the Agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such Executive or Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
