Half-Marathons

I do these marathons for no one. I do these marathons to prove that I can achieve a higher success that what I expect my goal to me. I have no other person in my life who I feel is greater than me! Like the president, or Michael Phelps.  Sure they may have power or faster ability than me, and I respect that greatly.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Philippians 4:13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Marathons can  be defined as one word "commitment". I run with pain, soreness, breathless for long periods of time, but in the end all stress is gone. A lot of people say that they can't run to the stop sign, but look at these verses "pray", believe and do. You will receive the strength and reach the possible with God.

I have ran many three 13.1 mile half-marathons so far, and more coming on the way to success. The first half-marathon was in Austin on on February 17th, 2008 placing 221st out 6034 runners. The second half-marathon was in Dallas Texas on April 6, 2008 I placed 49th out of 1670 runners (1st in age group), and the third half-marathon was in Austin, Texas on February 15, 2009 I placed 103 out of 6970 runners! I just showed you with God all things are possible! Don't get me wrong there's a lot of pain to reach higher goals in running, but God is by your side to help you through it.
