West Texas – New Mexico Senior
Golf Association
The West Texas – New Mexico Senior Golf Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving its members since 1968. Our goal is to promote annual golf tournaments and fellowship for senior men and women who are 55 years or older. Since 1969, there have been annual golf tournaments ranging from Farmington, New Mexico, to Corpus Christi, Texas.
Normally, two tournaments are held each year. The Spring
Tournament is held in late April or early May. The Fall Tournament is scheduled
for late September or early October. The format includes a mixed scramble on
the first day. On the second and third days, for men and women, there is a
medal play, gross and net. The activities include, but are not limited to,
practice rounds (cost not included), a welcome dinner, tours and lunches for
non-golfers, and the awards banquet.
