Safety is of primary importance in our operation. Each of us has the
responsibility to make the safety of ourselves and co-workers a basic
concern. This objective is fundamental to our well being, as well as to
the efficient operation of our business. This manual is intended to
assist you in performing your work safely. With few exceptions, every
safety rule or practice in this manual has evolved from experience and
knowledge gained over many years in how to prevent accidents and
injuries.
Every
employee has the responsibility to prevent accidents and injuries by
observing established working rules, by following the directions of
supervisors, by practicing the safety rules of E & A WELDING & OILFIELD
SERVICES, INC., and by providing ideas on how our safety efforts might
be further strengthened.
E&A
WELDING & OILFIELD SERVICE, INC. management recognizes its
responsibility to provide healthful and safe working conditions, safe
working rules based upon experience and safety knowledge, and competent
work direction. E&A WELDING & OILFIELD SERVICE, INC. and it’s employees
have the responsibility to comply with all federal, state, and local
regulations related to safety and health programs.
If
you think something you are about to do is unsafe, do not do it. Stop
work and correct the situation. If you cannot correct the situation, ask
your supervisor for assistance. This is important, it may be your life
in danger.
If
you see someone about to commit an unsafe act, stop them and discuss it
with them. Help your co-worker. Make your work environment safe for
everyone.
Employees working for E & A WELDING & OILFIELD SERVICES, INC. shall be
required to comply with health and safety laws and regulations and to
adopt the safety practices for E & A WELDING & OILFIELD SERVICES, INC.
If
you do not follow the safety rules, you could be dismissed.
